Anne Curtis

Anne Curtis Smith (Filipino-Australian) is an actor, TV presenter, record artist, and businesswoman. Her achievements have been numerous over the course of her career. The actress was nominated for twice for Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis has appeared in a number of TV series including Hiram Kampanerang (2005), Maging Sino Ka Man Dyosa (2008) Green Rose (2011) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2013). In the Mars Ravelo show Dyesebel she portrayed the Komiks iconic character Dyesebel. She also hosted the It's Showtime noontime program (2009-2010) Anne Curtis (born 17 February 1985) is a Filipina Australian model-actress TV host and recording artist. Her achievements include numerous accolades over the course of her profession. They include two FAMAS Awards one Luna Award two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards five PMPC Star Awards Television. Curtis has been nominated to win the eight PMPC Star Awards, two Gawad Urian Awards as well as for the Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis starred in a number of television series such as Hiram (2004 to the year 2005), Maging Sino Dyosa (2005), Green Rose (2011), Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003) and Kampanerang Kuba (2005). The role she played was Dyesebel the infamous Komiks character from Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. Other roles include hosting the show that aired at midday, Showtime between 2009 and 2020. Curtis is a native of Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia the daughter of Carmencita Ojales a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan and James Ernest Curtis-Smith, an Australian lawyer. Her father, James Ernest Curtis-Smith was married to Ojales back in 1982. Her older sister Jasmine is also an actor. Clare was a mother-in-law in their father's side. She died at just four months old in 2007.
